The Lesson

I understand why I can't sleep
here came the epiphany
a Truth important to keep
and it came in melody.

it's about having my heart stolen
with no plans, no safety net.
give Life to something that's been frozen
and being "all in" on the bet.

it's about finding out if the wall
has come down if only for a peek.
facing the abysm and the fall
being strong instead of weak.

That's the lesson to be learned:
opening up is good and fun!
Not so fun being burned
not knowing which way this'll turn.

But that's the point I'm making:
Be open to Love which also brings pain!
All is better than just faking!
Let all weathers in, also the rain!

So that's the lesson I'm being taught:
be vulnerable, insecure, but know this:

and bring him the girl they adore.

So now is revenge time!
He's keeping her in his reign

the cold and rain show Demeter's pain.

The new flowers can't bloom, and we need the sun!
Our energie and Light are about to wean!

The deal was struck and will never be broken.

But Gods are unstable and prone to mean deeds...
